Maybe growing up Mauritian has something to do with it. Maybe working across countries reinforced it. Maybe it is simply how my brain works.

Mauritian by birth. Multicultural by default.
I grew up in a place where moving between cultures never felt unusual. It felt normal.
Indian-looking people might speak French, celebrate Chinese New Year, eat food shaped by Africa, India, China and Europe—and still simply call themselves Mauritian.
How it shows up
Growing up between perspectives shaped the questions I instinctively ask.
The person
I’m proudly Mauritian, with Indian roots, married to a Spaniard. Our life is an ongoing conversation between cultures—food, family, traditions, language, travel and the rituals that make somewhere feel like home.
Six years of serious competition taught me to train for distant outcomes, take feedback, recover after losing and treat a disappointing result as information.
A lot of my work happens on screens. A lot of my best thinking doesn’t. Some of my favourite time is walking with Ozzy and Mitsy or getting into the mountains.
Usually accompanied by two dachshunds with very strong opinions.
